Habemus papam (WE have a pope) FilM

The Italian Cultural Institute will be showing Nanni Moretti’s warm and witty comedy We Have a Pope (Habemus Papam) on Sunday, August 10 at the University of Louisville’s Chao Auditorium. The film lasts one hour and forty two minutes and begins at 4:00 PM.  It will be in Italian, with English subtitles. A Pope who never wanted to be Pope disappears, and the cardinals who elected him have to stay in Rome until the situation is resolved. A psychiatrist tries to help. 

All are invited to gather at the Italian restaurant Sarino in Germantown after the movie. Sarino is located at 1030 Goss Avenue, off Eastern Parkway, almost immediately on your left.

Food and drink are not allowed in the Chao Auditorium.
